Our goal

Our goal is to increase people's overall well-being and activity by utilizing modern solutions. We connect sports venues and events and the people who search for them seamlessly with Go SportY mobile app.

What is Go SportY?

Go SportY Oy is a company founded in 2019 by two friends. The idea of Go SportY was born out of the need to bring together all the sports venues and events, so that no one would have to browse between different sites to find them. The mobile app offered by the company is designed for all people interested in sports and well-being.


The mobile application was chosen as a suitable platform because it is modern, easy to use and a smartphone can already be found in the pocket of almost every Finn. Go SportY is an effortless, simple and completely free mobile app that allows its users to find sports venues and events in any location they want. We are constantly developing the app to maximize the benefits to our users. We are also happy to receive development ideas and wishes, as we want to be the best sports app in Finland.

What do we offer for our users?

With the Go SportY mobile app, the user can easily find all the sport venues and events of their favourite sport according to the location of their choice. The application currently contains about 50 different sports and 30,000 sports venues, many of which have been retrieved from the open LIPAS database (www.lipas.fi/etusivu).

Software development

The Go SportY mobile application has been developed together with professionals. The technical implementation of the application has been done by two different software companies in Tampere. The first official version of the app was released on the Apple App Store as well as the Google Play Store in the fall of 2020, but its features are constantly evolving.

Vision for the future

Our vision is to be the most widely used sports mobile application in Finland in the future. We also aim for the international market so that people around the world can have access to our service.
